WHEN I DONATE WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?

Freedom for Beer contributions go to the Craft Brewers of Florida Political Committee. Contributions are used solely to support pro-craft beer legislative candidates and initiatives to positively impact the growth and sustainability of the Florida craft beer industry.

WILL CRAFT BREWERS OF FLORIDA POLITICAL COMMITTEE GIVE MONEY TO A LEGISLATOR I DON’T LIKE?
A:
Honestly, probably. But we view beer as being bipartisan, and the Craft Brewers of Florida Political Committee is designed to support those legislators who support improving Florida’s beer laws. That means we support those legislators who champion craft beer, regardless of their party affiliation.

HOW DO I CONTRIBUTE?

IS MY CONTRIBUTION TAX DEDUCTIBLE?

Unfortunately, contributions to political committees are not tax deductible.
Q:
WHY CAN’T I MAKE AN ANONYMOUS CONTRIBUTION?
A:
Florida law requires us to collect and report the full name, address, and principal occupation or job title of individuals whose contributions equal or exceed $50 in a reporting period. Even if your contribution is less than $50, we still need to collect your info in case you make any subsequent contributions which put you over the $50 amount. On the plus side, we would like to give you the opportunity to opt-in to our mailing list to receive occasional legislative and PC updates.

WILL YOU SELL OR SHARE MY EMAIL ADDRESS OR SPAM ME WITH A BUNCH OF EMAILS?

The email address and phone number you provide to Craft Brewers of Florida Political Committee will not be sold or shared with any unauthorized parties. When you donate, you will have the opportunity to “opt-in” to the Craft Brewers of Florida Political Committee mailing list to receive occasional updates on the PC and legislative issues impacting the Florida craft beer industry. WHO CAN CONTRIBUTE AND IS THERE A LIMIT TO HOW MUCH I CAN CONTRIBUTE?

Under Florida law, individuals and businesses, may contribute to political committees. Florida law does not limit contribution made to political committees.
Florida law prohibits foreign residents and entities from contributing to political committees
